Ms. Wendy Michele Deshields

March 10, 1958 - February 22, 2022

Wendy Michele Deshields of Baltimore, MD was born Monday, March 10, 1958 to Edward and Louise Deshields. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. She received her education through Baltimore City Public School System and proceeded to receive a B.S and M.Ed. in Special Education from Coppin State University. She went on to teach special education in Baltimore City Public Schools for 15 years until retiring in 2004. Wendy welcomed life through daughters Monique Lindsey Chantel Deshields and Dominique Rachelle Tichina Deshields. She also played an immensely influential role in her granddaughters, Gabrielle, Nevaeh and Heavens, upbringing. Wendy was a devout Christian who devoted her time to studying, strengthening her relationship with the Christ and spreading his word to those around her. She enjoyed watching westerns, interior decorating shows and going out to eat. Though her favorite holiday to celebrate was her birthday, Wendy most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In passing she leaves: Daughters, Monique Deshields and Dominique Deshields; Granddaughters, Gabrielle Deshields, Nevaeh Jessup and Heaven Deshields; Closest Friends Mae Lee and Mary Blanding Henderson........ and a host of other friends and loved ones who will miss her dearly.
