Ms. Sandra Dorothea Turner,

Sandra Dorothea Turner, was born January 14, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late, Kenneth Turner and Dorothy Kyler. She later moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She lived there for forty years, while raising a family of two girls and four boys. Sandra received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. After receiving the call to Ministry, she attended Manner Bible School for five years . Sandra returned to Baltimore, Maryland in 1987, after the children were grown. She continued to work in the ministry and education. She taught Kindergarten through second grade at the Cardinal Shehan Catholic School, until her health caused her to retire early in 2001. She continued to work full time in ministry after retiring. She was a missionary who praised her God all the time, while helping others and doing whatever needed to be done. Minister Turner is survived by: her children, Melanie T. Peoples, Donald Turner, Michael Turner, Minister Dina T. Green, Isa Qiyamah and Sultan Turner; twenty grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, cousins and friends.
