Mr. Paul Avery McMillan,
January 9, 1946 - September 24, 2021
Paul A. McMillan was the son of the late Lucy Mae Allsbrook and Willie D. McMillan, he was born January 9, 1946 in Pembroke, North Carolina and departed this life on September 24, 2021. Paul received his early education in North Carolina school system and continued his education in Baltimore, MD. He graduated from Frederick Douglas High School, where he was a memeber of the football team and band. Paul also attended Northwestern University, where he met and married Mary Ann and out this union came 2 daughters and he later served in the U.S. Army. Paul was employed as a truck driver for many years for Schmidt Baking Company, Cloverland Milk Diary and then joined Cowan Truck Company until he became ill. Paul was loved by all he came in contact with and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Paul, aka Pop-Pop loved and cherished his grandkids. He loved to bowl, playing cards,going;dominios, going fishing, dancing, telling jokes and having a great time with his family. Paul leave to mourn and cherish his memory, a devoted and lifelong partner, Bernice Driggs; 5 children; Paulette, Shiela, Paul, Iesha and Avery (Keisha); his adopted and step children; Beverly, Trevor, Lisa(Christopher), Pamela (Antonio),Dawn and Donald (Qianna); 39 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Willie Mae (who preceded him in death); Katie (Harry) and Paulette (James); 3 brothers David A., James and Lawrence(who preceded him in death) a host of nieces and nephews.
