Margaret Rosette (Rose) Kent was born on February 26, 1964 to the late Mildred Kent and Sherwood Perry. She departed this life on September 12, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by family and close friends due to illness. Rose was born in Baltimore, MD, as a child Rose grew up in Westport with her mother and three brothers until her mother's death where she relocated to East Baltimore to live with her grandmother. Rose attend and graduated from Baltimore City Public Schools. As Rose had many jobs and talents, she chose a career at The Baltimore Convention Center where she worked for nearly 19 years before early retirement due to a decline in her health. When Rose wasn’t working, she loved to cook, watch HGTV, Playing cards was her sport, spades, 5000 it didn’t matter the game and spend time with family and close friends. Rose loved her pets and her morning coffee (which was a must) Rose had a heart of gold if she had it and you needed it; she was willing to give it to you. She always cherished a good friendship because you always became family to her. Rose loyalty is and will always be one of her best qualities along with her smile. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother Mattie Reed and her late brother Eric Lounds. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her son Ezell Kent, Her life long friend Jerome Parker, two brothers Kevin Kent (Karen Kent) and Nathan Lounds; Three nephews Kevin Kent, Keon Kent and Nathan Lounds, Jr.; Three best Friends (sisters) Ellen Green (Deanie) Janice Kennedy and Dee Nelson; five God-children Christina Keeling, Jamal C. Crudup, Marcus Lipford, JaNae Thomas, and Arieana Weddington (Bugg) and a host of nieces and nephews (everyone called her Aunt Rose), friends, Family and colleagues.
