Mrs. Katherine Lorraine Whitfield ,

October 28, 1948 - July 15, 2020

Katherine Whitfield, affectionally known as “Lorraine”, was born on October 28th, 1948 to the late Augusta Tucker and stepfather Henry Anderson. She was departed this life on July 15th, 2020. She was born in Annapolis, MD and was raised in Baltimore, MD. She received her formal education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She enjoyed caring for others and was employed with Stella Maris Nursing Home for 15 years. “Lorraine” was a loving and generous sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was an active member at the Word Of god Church, where she was a member of the usher board for 8 years. She enjoyed singing on the choir and taking her grands to church with her, She even taught them to usher as well. Katherine “Lorraine” was proceeded in death by her mother; Augusta Tucker, son; Roy Murry. She survived by her children; Sherry Blackwell, Derrick Chambers, Shawn Delaney, Tanaya Collins and Damond Hopkins. She leaves to cherish her memories; brother; Charles Henson Sr (Darlens), two nieces; Latonya Hansley, Allona Henson, one nephew; Charles Henson Jr, Grandchildren; Markia Carr, Kendra Thomas(Carlos), Edward Brown III, Genelle Hayes ( Patrick), Tylance Brown Sr, Traneesha Brailsferrd, Marcellus Pack, Dishyra Chambers, Kendemetria Wingate, Dezmond Delaney, Ramiah Wright and Dinyja Chambers, Great Grandchildren; Jayman Williams, Juaan Fannell, D’asia Perez, Evan Brown, Amirrah Brown, Arihanna Brown, Kalem Lawrence, Brylee Hayes, Tylance Brown Jr, Andre Royster Jr, Tiller Davis, A’mei Pack, Xzayden Pack, Zuri Pack, Goddaughter; Fatina Tyler( Rick), and a host of other family and friends.
