As the second oldest of five, she loved her big family; as she often spoke of their activities and family outings. Peggy (as she was lovingly called) enjoyed everything from Karate to roller skating. She was blessed with an infectious laugh that you would hear as she told you the stories she held close to her. She was a proud Paul Laurence Dunbar High School Graduate of class “1965”. She represented her high school to the fullest with pride and dignity. As a proud member of the illustrious “Dunbar Alumni”, she also attended Coppin State University. With doing so, she encouraged all friends and family to stay on the path to success in whatever they chose to do with her wisdom as guidance. Retiring from Johns Hopkins Hospital as Patient Service Coordinator with thirty plus years of service at the highest level, she obtained many certifications and accolades. Peggy was always an asset to her team on any project she tackled. Holidays with Peggy were always a treat to say the least. She would host family, friends, and friends of friends. You could always count on hearing stories of her childhood with her siblings and friends covering all topics that were full of love and laughter. Mrs. Dorsey would always be accompanied her husband Mr. James Dorsey, who was never far behind; and looking their sharpest at all times.
