Ms. Gereccer Rock

GERECCER ROCK was born a twin on May 31, 1938 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Tresvelt and Elease House. She departed this world on June 13, 2022. GERECCER was affectionately known as “RESA” by her family and friends. She moved to Baltimore at the age of three. She was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She met and married William H. Rock. Although their marriage ended in divorce, from that union they had four amazing children; William H. Rock Jr. (deceased), Deidre E. Driver (deceased), Stephanie A. Rock-Flowers (Leroy, deceased), and Stacy A. Rock-Taylor (James). She worked for many years serving the public as a clerk, and she never met a stranger. She cooked Sunday dinner for family and friends to enjoy for several years. After being invited by her twin sister, Neva, to the Pimlico Racetrack, she quickly developed a love for horses where she also met many friends. She was preceded in death by her three siblings Mary, James, and her twin sister, Geneva. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters; Stephanie A. Rock-Flowers (Leroy, deceased), Stacy A. Rock-Taylor (James); God son; Kevin her oldest brother; Herbert and older sister; Daisy grandchildren; Nakia, Deshawn, and Jamese great-grandchildren; Quierra, Neiko, Khaci, and Mateo; great great-grandchildren; Dayton and Dilan, and many more relatives and friends.
