Mr. Franklyn Gill

October 17, 1947 - April 22, 2022

Franklyn Gill was born October 17th, 1947, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. He departed this earthly realm on April 22nd, 2022, when God said his assignment was complete and called him home. Frank, as he was lovingly known to family, friends and other loved ones, was born to the late Muriel Badenoch and Robert Gill. Frank had 3 children whom he loved dearly and was married to his wife, Mona Marshall-Gill, of 21 years. Frank was educated at Escallier Anglican Primary School in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, and worked for WASA, a water and sanitation agency before moving to the States and working odd jobs until his last employment at JFK Airport. Frank was multi-talented, headstrong, ambitious, and very family-oriented, and he used those passions throughout his life to help others and take care of his family. To know Frank was to love Frank. He brought a smile to everyone's face and touched the hearts of many. He loved traveling, was a hard worker, loved learning new things, and enjoyed playing sports such as soccer, cricket, and bowling. He made use of every gift God blessed him with and never allowed what he did not have to hold him back. Franks' incredible appreciation for life would really make you reevaluate yourself when feeling defeated. He was a cornerstone in his family, always helping those in need and brought life to the saying, "where there is a will, there is a way". Frank will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kim Gill, Liseli Gill-Gross, and her husband, Nathaniel Gross III, his grandchildren, Yanna Dyett, Izyrel Dyett, Akeila Dyett, Jayden George, Kayla George, and Neriah Gross, his brothers, Ralph Gill, Eddie Gill, Wilfred Badenoch, Stephen Badenoch, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other loved ones whom had all loved and will miss Frank very much. Receiving him with open arms will be his late son, Quincy Gill, and sisters, Merle Gill and Janet Badenoch. His memory will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Words are not enough to describe this incredible man who was so full of love and life.
